A urine analysis can identify various health issues, such as kidney disease or diabetes.
As a waste product created by the kidneys, urine provides valuable insights into your overall health.

Early detection of many can occur by spotting substances typically absent in urine or by measuring abnormal levels of certain components like glucose, protein, bilirubin, and bacteria. It's important to note that a routine urine analysis is designed to detect health conditions, including urinary tract infections (UTIs), kidney diseases, and diabetes, but it is not a drug or pregnancy test. While those tests may use urine samples, they focus on substances that are not evaluated in this standard urinalysis.
